Small Batch Music Group (SBMG) is a boutique record label and music publisher, founded in 2015 as an answer to fill a gap in the burgeoning indie music industry in Singapore and South East Asia. Over the last 10 years, there has been a renaissance of quality music creators in Singapore, Malaysia and the region.
Small Batch Records (SBR) provides digital distribution, marketing and promotion through major digital music channels with our partners worldwide. Since inception in 2012, the label has marketed and distributed releases by Kenneth Leow, Giants Must Fall, The Quartermasters and Charles Jedidiah, including managing and executing tours, recording, music video production, publicity and servicing to radio and digital platforms.
Small Batch Music Publishing (SBMP) co-exists as a seperate entity to create exposure for artists through alternative mediums while exploiting quality sound recordings to create alternative income for music creators, otherwise ignored in an infant music market.
Key milestones include a recent sync licensing deal with Singapore’s national broadcaster, Mediacorp, for the long running english language local TV series, Tanglin. The company has a long term view to growth as it seeks to capture and nurture a market that is still learning to value music, performing arts and such intangible intellectual property through partnerships, sync, licensing and publishing exploitation of quality songs and sound recordings.
We are always interested to discover new sounds and unique artists. Feel to get in touch.
